Halloween Layout

Kinda embarrased to show this layout (you'll read why in a bit), however this is my scrappy style and I should be proud right?

And those on the site voted. No, I did not win...actually only got 7% of the votes (embarrassing part), but I'm glad I gave it my best. There are very talented ladies out there!

Not a good blogger

Really I'm not. I don't know what to blog about. My life ... is boring.

This weekend we went to my Dad's. Hubby wanted to try and get "the big one" but no deer was brought home. There were a few, however they were heading in the wrong direction. In ND...they LOTS of room to run!

The weather was issy on the drive there. Three hour drive took five, but we made it. Other's were not so fortunate and spent time in the ditch. Guess having four wheel drive doesn't always make it better.

I have some scrappy stuff to post but I forgot the stuff at home. I have to say though that the Creative Team at The ScrapCity have really out done themselves with all their work! Go check their work out and leave them some love.

We don't have a lot of snow, but it'll be here soon enough. It's been cold!

This Holiday Season it seems to be one thing after another so I hope to say blogging, but if I disappear please poke me in the tush and I'll try and get back on.

Customer Service

I have learned a hard lesson the past few months. The lesson I have learned is "buyer beware".

If you purchase something in advance and it says "no refund" ... that really means ... "no refunds". Even if the product you are buying takes forever to receive. Even if you are so completely upset/frustrated with how a business is handling their customer's ... it doesn't matter. There is nothing we can do but take the horrible communication/customer service. Nothing. And that is what's get's my goat. Why is there nothing as a consumer we can do? It's past the 30 day's with my bank to dispute the charge. It's past the 45 days to dispute the charge with paypal.

I really wouldn't be all that upset if the owner would have communicated or done all they could to ensure the product went out quicker.

Customer service (also known as Client Service) is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase.

The hold up with my product is one specific item for this "kit". One simple solution to this whole situation would have been to subsitute the missing pieces and get the thing out the door.

So with my hands tied on getting a refund, the only thing I know how to do is spread the word if anyone asks my opnion on this "club".

I am not the only upset one. There are many. Let's just say there are 10 of us that are upset (ok there are more, however let's use this as an example). Those 10 people are going to tell 7...so we are up to 70 people that are aware of bad business practices. Typically those 70 will tell 7 more people...guess what...hundreds of people are aware now.

So I'm tanted. I won't be purchasing from sites like this. Which is so sad that one person ruins it for many.

Everyone get's their just dessert. That is what I keep reminding myself when those of us that play by the rules get screwed.

I hope you all have a great weekend! We are going to get our first snow fall of the year. This snow won't go away so I guess it means winter is upon us? Ick. I'm not ready. I can't wait already for summer and flip flops!

I can't believe that I buckled down and got the majority of the work done this weekend in Livi's room. And I'm ok with how it turned out, I'm actually surprised.

We headed to our early voting place yesterday. Went through the lines quickly! We took Matthew with as part of a Cub Scout Activity Pin...he learned a lot!

Family Day

Our Family Day yesterday was a good time.

We ate at Burger King, which I don't have pictures of. There was a sign on the front door that they don't allow photography in the store. (dumb to me)

After Burger King we went through DQ's drive thru! YUM!

Then we played three games of Clue. I love board games!

Family Day!

Happy Family Day to my fam! Four years ago today, my hubby adopted my oldest son :). Each year we make it a special day for Matthew. He gets to choose what we do, where we eat, etc.

I'm thinking it's Burger King for dinner (they have the ipets) and board game playing. I think it'll be fun!

Each year brings more questions as he gets older, but the older he gets the more indepth explaining we feel comfortable with.

Princess Olivia

Dad didn't have his hair done this morning yet so no picture of him.

Lucas wouldn't take a picture in the house. When I got in the car he was sad that he didn't have a picture so I snapped one in the car :).
